"My youth group came into contact with the Newton Foundation at the Student Evangelism Conference in Dallas, Texas. We went through the prayer room they had set up and my students left full of ideas. They wanted to create the prayer rooms to pray for our upcoming revival. When we got home we set out immediately, we had the prayer room up and running in one week. It took a lot of hard work from everyone, at times it was stressful and hard, but we trusted the Lord and He pulled us through. We were able to pray for each church member over 4 times; over 2,000 prayers were said in that room over a 2 week period.

I have been able to see a change in our youth group, for the first time they have seen themselves as leaders in our church and that they were able to make a difference.  They motivate many church members to come and spend weekly time in our prayer rooms. We have a weekly “Awesome Prayer Time” where we all get together and share what is going on in our lives and then pray together. I have been told more than once that they really appreciate that time we have together.  I have seen our youth work together to accomplish something great that will leave a mark on our church. They know that they have a safe place to go that is surrounded by the Spirit of the Lord"
